WHAT ROLE DO ENZYMES PLAY IN YOUR BODY?

They boost the operational efficiency of the body by speeding up the rate of chemical reaction going on in the body.

What does this mean in Layman’s terms:

They break down the complex molecules in our food into simpler ones so that digetion and proper obsorption of nutrients can enter the blood stream and benefit our bodies.

Your body need these Enzymes to build muscle, detox the body and improve digestion.

WHAT ARE THEY EXACTLY:

Well there are three types of Enzymes:

  1. Protease which breaks down fats
  2. Amylase which breaks down protein and
  3.  Lipase which breaks down starches.

WHY DO WE NEED ENZYMES:

As mentioned your body cannot digest complex particles that you eat without them.

I started researching all this, and I really did it because I was having so many digestive issues.

I had no idea what Enzymes were or why they were so important to our overall health.

The body is a complex chemical factory.

We must take care of it, so that we don’t have problems.

Enzymes are produced inside the body and in order for the  food to be broken down into simpler substances so that your body can use them as I mentioned, You – need – Enzymes.

Here is another interesting fact, Enzymes are mainly produced in the Pancreas and the Small Intestines.

Do you have Pancreatic Cancer, Cystic Fibrosis or any other problem that disturbs the function of the Pancreas.

If you do, there will be adverse effect in the production of Enzymes.

So what happens in this case, is the body just not able to digest food properly, since it lacks the required enzymes.

If that is the issue, then you will have to make a greater effort to overcome your Enzyme dificiency.

Add more enzyme rich foods to your diet and/or include an Enzyme supplement in your diet plan.

No matter the situation though, if you want to have good Gut Health which will lead to better health as well, you should include Enzyme rich foods in your daily food intake.

ENZYME RICH FOODS:

Fortunately there are many Enzyme rich foods.

Some to consider are, Papaya, Pineapple, Mango, Sauerkraut, Avocado, Miso, Kiwi, Honey, Bananas, Kefir, Kimchi and Ginger.

These are all great sources that will meet your body’s requirements of digestive enzymes.

Dificiency of Digestive enzymes can lead to severe consequences to our health.

We can avoid problems, by making Healthy food choices, which will increase the intake of enzymes so that there will be no shortage of Enzymes, which will also improve our Gut Health.
