There is a common misconception that you need to be having obvious common gut disfunctions like bloating, excessive gas, diarrhea and food intollerances to have gut disfunction.

That is simply not the case. Nearly 40% of adults suffer from Gasrointestinal disorders. Most who have GI disorders are not aware of how serious the problem is.

“Hippocrates the father of modern medicine said it best when he said, all “disease begins in the gut”.

Our intestinal tract forms a defensive barrier from what we ingest, and it prevents harmful substances from reaching our blood streamIf this barrier is compromised and those harmful substances can get past, inflammation can happen.

If this barrier is compromised and those harmful substances can get past, inflammation can happen.

We have departed from the ways of nature, and we don’t eat as nature intended.

We’re paying the price. our society is busier than ever, so what we end up doing is, eating packaged foods or processed foods or fast food for convenience because we’re busier than ever.

Unfortunately, that takes a toll on the gut.

Also, there are substances that have been introduced into our food, for example more pesticides, GMO’S(Genetically modified organisms)

It has become more about profitability than health.

So, What we must do then, is  make better food choices, so eat a more balanced diet one that is rich in fruits and vegetables

If you want your body to be healthy, you must start with the gut.

The good news is the inner lining of the intestines is one of the most-often renewed surfaces in the human body, replenishing itself every 2 to 4 weeks.  No matter what your problem is health wise you need to start with the gut

Because of this quick regeneration, one way to regenerate the gut wall  is to take advantage of the supplement Glutathione.

Glutathione is a Tripeptide

A peptide is a naturally occurring protein. Glutathione is a very small tripeptide composed of three amino acids: glycine, glutamine, and cysteine. It is made in every cell in the body.

In a perfect world, when we are kids, we produce enough glutathione to maintain optimum health and that’s providing everything is working well, we don’t have any stress, we are not bullied, our parents haven’t been through a divorce. our life was all roses and no thorns.

All things being equal, when we get to about 20, we have the best amount of glutathione possible. providing as I mentioned life was all peaches and cream.

As we age, though, we start losing it. the more stress we have, the more sickness, the more toxins we are exposed to. The less we have. So we need to supplement with Glutathione.

Why is glutathione so important? Glutathione is responsible for over 400 functions in the body some of these functions include:

  • Breaking down free radicals
  • Heavy metal transportation out of our cells
  • Regenerates other antioxidants in the body
  • Protection from free radicals and oxidative damage
  • Supporting enzyme function
  • Supports mitochondrial functional
  • Supports the body’s elimination processes
  • Processing fats in the liver and gallbladder
  • Cellular detoxification of toxins and waste

Take the Quiz to determine if you need more glutathione:
